Mr. Burzis S. Taraporevala is currently Senior Advisor to the Tata Trusts.  Prior to this appointment he was the Secretary & Chief Financial Officer of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Allied Trusts, during the period December 2013 to June 2018.  As Senior Advisor he is responsible for the Management as well as the Statutory compliances of the said Trusts.  The Tata Trusts are public charities, in the key areas of Health, Education, Water & Sanitation, Energy, Rural Upliftment and Urban Poverty Alleviation. 

Prior to joining the Tata Trusts in December 2013, he was for over ten years part of the Tata Group and was mainly responsible in overseeing the direct tax compliances of the Tata Group Companies, namely, Tata Sons Ltd., Tata Investment Corporation Limited, Tata Petrodyne Ltd., Tata Industries Ltd. and Tata Services Ltd. 

Before being part of the Tata Group he has worked with KPMG and Kalyaniwalla & Mistry as General Manager – Taxation Department. 

Mr. Taraporevala is a Commerce Graduate and has done his Chartered Accountancy and was ranked 39th in India by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. 

He is an avid music lover and has also participated in Marathons, chiefly with the intent of raising funds for the Non-Government and Philanthropic organisations. 

Anura Kurpad is the Head of the IAEA Collaborating Centre on Stable Isotopes in Nutrition as well as a Margdarshi Fellow of the India Alliance of Wellcome Trust and Department of Biotechnology. His expertise lies in the use of stable isotopes to evaluate nutrient requirements, the adaptation to low nutrient intake, the bioavailability of nutrients, and the outcomes of nutritional interventions. His work with stable isotopic evaluations of essential amino acid requirements formed the primary evidence for the recent WHO/FAO/ONU recommendations for human protein and amino acid requirements.

Anura Kurpad is also a Member and Chair of several committees in the Indian Council of Medical Research, the Food Safety and Standards Association of India, as well as the Department of Biotechnology.

Mr. Sumit Bose joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1976. He served in various positions with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Government of India, before retiring as the Union Finance Secretary, Government of India.

Mr. Bose acts as an Independent Director of various other companies and has chaired number of committees of the Ministry of Rural Development and the Ministry of Defence of Government of India. In the Finance Ministry, he served as Secretary (Department of Revenue), Secretary (Expenditure) and Secretary (Disinvestment) as well as Secretary in the Thirteenth Finance Commission. Post retirement, he was a member of the Expenditure Management Commission and the Committee to Review the Fiscal Responsibility Legislation. He also chaired number of committees of the Ministry of Rural Development and the Ministry of Defense of Government of India. He also served on the Board of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited and BSE Limited.

He has completed his Master of Science in Social Policy and Planning from London School of Economics and Master of Arts in History from University of Delhi.

Healthcare Management professional with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Srinivas started his career with Sri Sathya Sai Hospital in Puttaparthi in 1991 and was part of EMRI Hyderabad (2005-2011). Subsequently he joined L.V. Prasad Eye Institute Hyderabad and his most recent stint was with Reliance Foundation Mumbai.

Mr. Srinivas has substantial exposure to Performance Management, Culture Transformation, Internal and external Communication, People development and Stake Holder Management with leadership experience in Hospital and Pre Hospital set ups and extensive engagement with govts in a PPP mode.

At Tata Trusts, Mr. Srinivas is exploring ways of consolidating the vast and varied work in Health vertical into a few focused thematic areas to build replicable and scalable models of healthcare delivery that can leverage existing and emerging technologies for large scale societal impact in the Primary and Preventive care space.
