In Odisha, HSTP supports Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) through technical assistance to enhance program implementation. This includes capacity building, process reorientation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure financial risk protection and improved health outcomes. A workshop on Strengthening Operations of BSKY, part of HSTP’s capacity-building program, aimed to enhance practitioners' capabilities in data analytics and medical audit for better monitoring and scheme improvements. Collaboration with State Health Assurance Society Odisha, NHM Odisha, ACCESS Health International, IIPH Bhubaneswar, and Ziqitza Healthcare facilitated learning for about 40 BSKY functionaries.
Facilitators included Dr. Sudha Chandrasekhar (HSTP), Dr. Dhanajaya Naidu (AHI), Dr. Sarit Raut (IIPH B), and Mr. Sushanth Kumar Mohanty (Ziqitza). CEO, BSKY, Ms. Shalini Pandit appreciated HSTP's efforts, highlighting the importance of such workshops in strengthening personnel capacities and improving program implementation and beneficiary experience.
